The
BVA has set up a campaign, #ChooseAssured, to help consumers make informed choices
when they purchase animal derived food products.

To this end the BVA has produced a clear infographic outlining
the different assurance schemes and what their priorities are for animal health
and welfare.
Through the #ChooseAssured campaign the BVA want to
encourage both the veterinary profession and the public at large to purchase animal
derived foodstuffs that are farm assured. In addition the hope is to raise
awareness of the wonderful work of the UK farm assurance schemes and the
crucial work of veterinary surgeons within these schemes to safeguard high
animal health and welfare.
